About the event
This month's Dyke Hike will be a little different! The hike can start at 7pm, but it is flexible, because you'll hike to the top on your own. Once there, we will gather in a gay little group to watch the brilliant sun set over New Hope and the Delaware River. Please see below for recent pics of the experience. We will hike back to the parking area as a group, within 10 minutes of the sun setting for safety reasons. The woods get dark (the last two pics below), so please bring a flashlight! We will be back to our vehicles around 9pm.
The Space
The overlook itself is a gently rolling hilltop surrounded by trees. There are some tree stumps to sit on, but I strongly recommend bringing a blanket or a chair. This is a carry in/carry out, leave no trace park.
